Kristen Stewart Gets 'Unconditional Love' From Taylor Lautner; Other 'Twilight' Stars Show Support

The drama behind Kristen Stewart's cheating scandal seems to be finally dying down.

The "Twilight" world was devastated when news revealed that the vampire couple split when shocking photos surfaced in July that Stewart was cheating with "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders. It was reported that the two were both extremely hurt and that Robert Pattinson wasn't going to take Stewart back.

Earlier in the year, it was reported that cast members from "Breaking Dawn Part 2" couldn't speak on the matter.

In August, Celeb Dirty Laundry reported that "Breaking Dawn Part 2" co-star Taylor Lautner, 20, who plays the role of Jacob in all the "Twilight" films, is reportedly disgusted with the whole cheating scandal, even though the whole cast were given explicit instructions to keep their mouths shut and not get involved.

"He looked up to her. He's dealing with it in a businesslike way because it's easier for him," the source said.

Now, a new report is saying that Stewart is getting support from Lautner after the scandal.

According to HollywoodLife, Lautner has been one of Stewart's strongest supporters behind the scenes.

A friend of Stewart's tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, "Kristen is still extremely fragile. She is not sure who she can trust so she is leaning on just a few of her closest friends. One of those friends is Taylor Lautner. He has been by her side every step of the way, offering his support and unconditional love.

"They have always been really close friends. Kristen knows he has her back behind- the-scenes and will be there for her during all the Breaking Dawn: Part 2 publicity tours," said the friend. "Taylor knows that Kristen messed up, but he doesn't treat her like she is a bad person. They text each other a lot and talk on the phone and his friendship means the world to her, especially right now."

The friend added, "It's not like Taylor is taking sides. He also really cares about Rob Pattinson, but he knows Rob is already getting tons of support plus he has always been better friends with Kristen. They have a very special bond."

Lautner, 20, also shares a special bond on-screen with Bella (played by Stewart). He understands her on a level that Edward (played by Pattinson) can't (because he is a vampire), because he is a werewolf but human.

Other stars spoke about how the scandal won't affect the success of "Breaking Dawn Part 2," due to release in theaters Nov. 16.

Stewart's "BD Part 2" co-star, Noel Fisher, who plays Vladimir of the Romanian coven, recently dished to Examiner.com that Stewart was fantastic, according to HollywoodLife.

"There are so many aspects like Kristen's been doing movies for obviously a very long time. And she's been fantastic in everything she's done, so like it's really nice to get to work with people who are really experienced. It's like a learning opportunity."

Actress Christian Serratos, who plays Angela Weber (a mortal pal of Stewart's character Bella) in the five "Twilight" films, Stewart's fling with the married father-of-two isn't something that should affect ticket sales, reported US magazine.

"Of course people are fans of us now, but I think above anything, they're fans of these characters," she told Us Weekly at the Viva Glam magazine September issue launch party in Hollywood July 31. "I don't think anyone's really gonna give a sh-t. They're gonna see the movie; it's going to be awesome."

"I support anyone who's in love," explained the 21-year-old actress, who recently went blonde. Serratos said that she hopes they can work things out.

We hope so too.
