'Breaking Dawn Part 2' News: Movie and 'Twilight Marathon' Advanced Tickets On Sale Oct. 1

"Breaking Dawn Part 2" is approaching fast in November, and fans want to know how to get their hands on the tickets!

In the "Breaking Dawn Part 2" novel, the Denali, Egyptian, Irish, Amazon, Romanian Coven, and others come to defend the Cullens after Irina reported to the ruling vampire class known as the Volturi that the Cullens (Bella and Edward) created an immortal child, half-vampire, half-human Renesmee (played by Mackenzie Foy). Due to her hatred with Bella (played by Kristen Stewart) because of Bella's relationship with the wolves as well as the unfulfilled revenge of her mate Laurent, she betrayed her sisters and her allies. The movie also centers on Bella's new transformation as a new-born (new vampire).

A new exciting detail is that Summit Entertainment recently revealed that advanced tickets for "Breaking Dawn Part 2" and "Twilight Saga Marathon" go on sale Monday, Oct. 1 at 12 a.m. EST on their Twitter page.

Fandango also announced on their website that the tickets will be going on sale. They will be selling the tickets on their website, their mobile site and apps. Moviegoers can now sign up for a Fandango FanAlert, an email reminder of when "Twilight" tickets go on sale.

"Each installment of 'The Twilight Saga' ranks among Fandango's top pre-selling films of all time," said Rick Butler, Executive Vice-President and General Manager of Fandango, according to BroadwayWorld. "With moviegoers telling us that 'Breaking Dawn, Part 2' is their most anticipated film of the Fall season, we fully expect tickets to go quickly, while our fans rely on Fandango to reserve their tickets when advance sales start on October 1."

"In anticipation of the film's release, Fandango has launched its latest Twilight Movie Guide with exclusive content including video interviews with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and all of the film's stars, a comprehensive character guide, ticket and poster giveaways and the latest "Breaking Dawn" news and updates at https://www.fandango.com/twilightguide."

It was recently revealed that Summit will be screening all of the films as part of a movie marathon on Nov.15, one day before "Breaking Dawn Part 2" comes out in theaters.

The day-long marathon will include the first four movies, "Twilight," "New Moon," "Eclipse," and "Breaking Dawn Part 1."

According to Zap2it, Summit plans to release the newest film beginning with 10 p.m. screenings on Nov. 15 at some theaters. Everywhere else, "Breaking Dawn Part 2" will debut the following day.

Marathon attendees will also get to see additional interstitial content, according to the website.

Last year, Summit had a partnership with AMC theaters and they did a sort of "mini marathon." Fans were able to vote on which movie they wanted to see before watching "Breaking Dawn Part 1." Of course, the winner was "Eclipse," since that is the movie right before "BD Part 1." However, fans were extremely disappointed with only one movie before their first part of the epic finale. Summit then told fans that they will make it up to them this year, which we can see that they are!

AMC theaters also held another "Twilight" marathon where fans went to see "Twilight" and "New Moon" before the 12 a.m. showing of "Eclipse."

Director Bill Condon recently revealed that the movie will run one hour and 56 minutes. Twi-hard fans wish it would be longer!

"Breaking Dawn Part 2" is set to release in theaters Nov. 16, 2012.
