Fifty Shades of Grey: Hotels Provide Christian Grey Fantasy

"Fifty Shades of Grey" not only made headlines, but now it's creating new relationships and feelings between people because of the novel's erotic story.

Not only do women want to play out the sexual scenes of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey in their own bedrooms with their partners, but they also are looking for sugar daddy's who will dominate them in a way Christian will.

According to Business Insider, the readers of the E.L. James sexy novel are flocking to "sugar daddy/sugar baby" online dating website Seeking Arrangement.com, said Brandon Wade, founder of the site.

Wade, founder of also SeekingMillionaire.com, WhatsyourPrice.com, and MissTravel.com, told Business Insider that out of 1.6 million Seeking Arrangement profiles, the term Christian Grey is mentioned 23,102 times, Anastasia Steele is mentioned 18,281 times, and the term "Fifty Shades" is mentioned 28,382 times. He said that 186,000 female members are seeking a "Christian Grey" type of arrangement.

In "Fifty Shades of Grey," Anastasia Steele, who is a virgin, meets billionaire Christian Grey, who lives in the world of BDSM. He made an agreement with Steele, and "gives her a hefty allowance, a car, and a new penchant for whips, chains and handcuffs," according to Business Insider.

Seeking Arrangement has an economically similar mission: to connect young women with rich dudes who will pay for their lifestyles.

Wade took a survey of members' interest in BDSM, which stands for bondage, domination, submission, sadism, and masochism. He said that 79% of female members found the idea of succumbing to a 'dominant' male like Grey a turn on, 90% of male members said they found the idea of woman being a 'submissive' like Steele exciting, 43% said they were more likely to use handcuffs in sexual role play, and 47% wanted to experiment with blindfolds and other bondage gear.

Who ever said those dreams can't become a reality?

The fantasies that whirl in people's mind as they read "Fifty Shades of Grey" are not just wishes. They can act them out by going to the various hotels that offer "Fifty Shades" romance packages.

According to Vanity Fair, the Hotel Max in Seattle, where the novel is set in, offers a two-night stay that includes chauffeured-town-car service, a 30-minute helicopter tour of the city, a four-hour skippered sailing excursion on the Puget Sound, a gourmet picnic, and a bottle of Bollinger Grande Année Rosé 1999 champagne, one of Grey's preferred vintages, all beginning at $1,699.

Edgewater Hotel, also in Seattle, offers a similar package with the same champagne, a demo drive in an Audi (which Christian drives), and a custom "Fifty Shades of Grey" landmark tour.

The Heathman Hotel, located in Portland, which is also featured in the steamy novel, gives guests the option to try the "Charlie Tango Experience," which is the name of Christian's helicopter in the book, according to the Examiner. The package offers champagne, other drinks, a night drive and more to explore love and passion in the "Fifty Shades" way.
