Mike Tyson 'Undisputed Truth' Tell-All Memoir to Reveal 'Hangover' Star's Journey From Past to Present

Mike Tyson plans to write a tell-all memoir.

Blue Rider Press announced Oct. 15 that the former heavyweight champion will write a memoir called "Undisputed Truth," which will release Summer 2013.

Tyson will collaborate with Larry "Ratso" Sloman, who also collaborated on Howard Stern's book, "Miss America," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"The memoir will chronicle Tyson's journey from past to present," THR said. "Famed as one of the best boxers in the world, he was the youngest person ever to hold three Heavyeight championship belts simultaneously. He had a stormy marriage to actress Robin Givens and later served time in jail for rape. By the early 2000s, Tyson had squandered an estimated $400 million fortune."

The actor has made a comeback by starring in both "Hangover" films. His IMDB page says he will be starring in "The Hangsover Part III" IN 2013.

THR reported that avid Rosenthal, president and publisher of Blue Rider Press negotiated the deal. David Vigliano at Vigliano Associates represented Tyson.

USAToday called Tyson "the man whose life has been an open book" and "once the most featured man on the planet."

In 1991, Desiree Washington, a Miss Black America contestant, charged that Tyson raped her in an Indianapolis hotel room, according to reports. On Feb. 10, 1992, he was convicted of rape and served three years in prison.

Tyson did a one-man show on Broadway by the same name last spring, according to NESN.

According to his IMDB page, he is currently an actor in "Scary Movie 5," which is slated for 2013. He also was undefeated with a boxing record for 37-0 from March 6, 1985 until Feb. 11, 1990.

According to History.com, "After his release in 1995, Tyson became even more paranoid and out of control. In June 1997, Tyson bit off a chunk of Evander Holyfield's ear during a boxing match, for which his boxing license was revoked. In a 1999 interview, Tyson maintained that he would bite off his opponent's ear if the situation arose again. Despite these comments, Tyson was granted a reinstatement of his boxing license. Although Tyson continued to fight, he never regained his previous dominance. He declared bankruptcy in 2003 and retired two years later, in June 2005, after losing three of his last four fights."

Two of his personal quotes from IMDb are, "My career has been over since 1990 . . . When I look at my fans, they don't love me. They love what I do. I'm an entertainer. I'm a performer. I entertain them. That's what I do" and "I'm crazy, but I'm not crazy like that."
