Amazon is sending Apple a message that Apple's new iPad Mini won't faze their Kindle Fire HD.

Amazon posted a graphic comparing of the Kindle Fire HD compared to the iPad Mini on its website homepage, saying that the Fire has just about better everything than the iPad Mini.

On the spec comparison titled, "Much More for Much Less," Amazon boasts about its new Fire HD tablet, saying that it has a stunning HD display with 30 percent more pixels than iPad Mini, a 216 ppi vs iPad Mini's 163 ppi, dual stereo speakers vs mono speakers, and Ultra-fast MIMO Wi-Fi. Users can also watch HD movies and TV, something that iPad Mini users won't be able to do.

One big thing is the price. You can get a 7-inch Kindle Fire HD for $199 compared to iPad Mini's $329.

The graphic features a review from tech website Gizmodo, saying, "... your [Apple's] 7.9-inch tablet has far fewer pixels than the competing 7-inch tablets! You're cramming a worse screen in there, charging more, and accusing others of compromise? Ballsy."

Other website think that the iPad Mini is a little overpriced, especially because there are other 7-inch tablet options, including the Kindle Fire HD, Barnes & Noble's NOOK HD, and Google's Nexus 7, including the new 32GB version which is still cheaper at $249.

CSMonitor said that the iPad Mini is "pretty pricey" for a 7-inch tablet.

Apple went on the defense for it's high price, saying that consumers will buy it anyway.

"The most affordable [tablet] we've made so far was $399 and people were choosing that over those devices," Schiller said, referring to the iPad 2, which saw a price drop earlier this year, according to CSMonitor. "And now you can get a device that's even more affordable at $329 in this great new form, and I think a lot of customers are going to be very excited about that."

For those who want the best for their buck, they won't care about Apple loyalty. Why buy a regular tablet when you can get a better one for less right? This is what Amazon wants everyone to meditate on.

On top of that, in two Books & Review polls, the iPad Mini is losing to the Kindle Fire HD, Nexus 7 and NOOK HD.

The new Kindle Fire HD 7-inch tablet comes in 16Gb or 32GB. It has a 1280 x 800 HD display with polarizing filter and anti-glare technology for rich color and deep contrast from any viewing angle. It features Dolby audio and dual-driver stereo speakers. Amazon says that its dual-band, dual-antenna Wi-Fi does 40 percent faster downloads and streaming compared to the iPad 3. It has a 1.2 Ghz dual-core processor with Imagination PowerVR 3D graphics core with free unlimited cloud storage for Amazon content. It also has reduced screen glare. It costs $199 for the 16GB model.
