Well-known novelist Liane Moriarty will soon launch her latest work this autumn. Fans of her novels are surely going to be thrilled! Moriarty has given People Magazine an exclusive sneak peek of the book.

"Here One Moment" is going to be released on September 10. Crown, a subdivision of the Crown Publishing Group, will publish the book. Moriarty's immense popularity is shown by her many #1 New York Times bestsellers and over 20 million copies of her books sold globally.

A Two-Decade Literary Endeavor

It is the success of the HBO series Big Little Lies - an Emmy-winning drama - that you may have heard the name of Moriarty due to its ensemble of outstanding actors, including Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, and Shailene Woodley. Her novels are also thriving across the screens/ "Apples Never Fall" was adapted to a Peacock limited series, and "Nine Perfect Strangers" was brought to the screen.

Along with her commercially successful books like "The Husband's Secret," Moriarty has published other bestsellers that are also critically acclaimed. She resides in Sydney with her husband and her two children.

Celebrating 20 years since the release of her debut novel, Moriarty expressed excitement for her 10th book published by Penguin Michael Joseph's talented team. She talked about her two decades in the profession and how her enthusiasm for her job did not decrease but motivated her as she continued to perform her dream job without taking this fact for granted.

A Gripping Tale of Fate and Mystery

"Here One Moment" promises to captivate readers with its intriguing premise. The narrative unfolds aboard an ordinary domestic flight, showcasing a variety of characters. These include a newlywed couple, a harried mother tending to her young children, a pair of empty-nesters returning from a memorable trip, a rushed father eager for his daughter's school event, and an inconspicuous older woman.

The story takes a chilling turn when, just minutes before landing, the older woman stands up and shocks her fellow passengers by revealing the age and cause of their deaths. Initially dismissed as the ramblings of a troubled mind, her predictions soon prove eerily accurate, sending shivers down the spines of those onboard.

An Unassuming Passenger's Journey

In the excerpt, the focus shifts to a seemingly unremarkable woman boarding a flight from Hobart airport to Sydney. Due to her unassuming presence, she does not stand out among the diverse passengers. The narrative paints a vivid picture of the individuals surrounding her, each dealing with their own quirks and concerns as they await departure.

As the flight experiences delays, tensions rise among the passengers, yet the woman remains remarkably composed. She does not engage in the various displays of frustration or anxiety exhibited by those around her. Instead, she maintains a quiet and unobtrusive demeanor, drawing minimal attention.

Even as the flight progresses, the woman blends into the background, neither attracting nor seeking notice. Her actions are mundane and unremarkable, starkly contrasting with the escalating drama among her fellow travelers.

Ultimately, it is not until a startling event involving the woman that she garners significant attention. Despite her previous insignificance, she becomes the cabin's focal point, prompting a flurry of reactions from those onboard.
