Hillary Clinton to Write Memoir about Experiences as Secretary of State

Hillary Clinton is currently writing a memoir that will detail her time and experiences as secretary of State.

With the 2016 elections approaching, Hillary Clinton is being viewed as the potential next President of the United States by many Democrats. Speculation about her political future has been creating heat waves, and a similar question about whether or not Clinton will run for President seems to be on everyone's minds.

Amid all of this, The Guardian announces that the secretary of State will be publishing a new memoir, her fifth published work, somewhere next year. It will detail worldly affairs, as well as her experiences and time spent as the secretary of state. The media predicts that the new book could give rise to more speculation about Clinton's plans for 2016.

"Hillary Clinton's extraordinary public service has given her a unique perspective on recent history and the challenges we face," said Jonathan Karp, president and publisher of the Simon & Schuster Publishing Group, who will edit Clinton's as-yet untitled book.

According to Simon & Schuster, Clinton will write about everything, from the killing of Osama bin Laden and the Arab Spring, to China and climate change. She "will share her views as to what it takes for the United States to secure and sustain prosperity and global leadership. Throughout, Secretary Clinton will offer vivid personal anecdotes and memories of her collaboration with President Obama and his national security team, as well as her engagement with leaders around the world."
