Moto G 2015 3rd Generation Release Date Looming? Alleged Specs Sheet Leaks! Features & Price Details Here [Rumors]

Motorola will refresh most of its smartphone lineups in the months to come. For starters, the Lenovo-owned company is planning to release its freshest take on the Moto G, although it is unknown when the smartphone, dubbed as the Moto G 2015, will be out in the open.

Lucky for patrons of the tech firm, a brand new leak has provided new info on the release date and the specs of the device. Although markedly low in quality, the image courtesy of Chile's largest carrier, Entel, which was picked up by Pisapapeles, confirmed much of the rumors going around about the handset.

According to GSM Arena, the third-generation Moto G, as previous speculations and leaks claimed, will not see many modifications in terms of design. It will look a lot like its predecessor and will still come with a five-inch display. The site adds that it may even keep the 720p display.

As expected, Motorola focused on bulking up the imaging department more than the device's look. Softpedia adds that the new Moto G will boast a 13MP rear-facing shooter complete with dual-LED flash. The snapper on the front will be at 5MP. The 2014 entry had an 8MP/2MP combo.

The leak also showed that the Moto G 2015 will house a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor that is clocked at 1.4GHz. The smartphone will also be getting with 1GB RAM, which should work nicely with the type of chipset it's getting.

The image, unfortunately, did not provide details on the storage options of the handset, but GSM Arena is convinced it should come with at least 8GB. The site further claims that this will be expandable with a micro SD card, has a dual-SIM flavor and other variants will also be available.

On the other hand, there were also details on a new Moto X device, which the leak called Moto X Sport. According to Recombu, this one could be modeled to appeal to and sway fitness lovers; thus, it will likely be made heavy-duty with a design that's rugged but still with the signature Moto X curves.

The site adds that the Moto X Sport might simply be a variant of a standard Moto X 2015, which is said to feature a fingerprint scanner. In the leak, the device was listed to don a 5.2-inch display, a 5MP front-facing camera and a 16MP shooter at the back. The image only showed that the processor will be quad-core set at 1.5GHz.

Lastly and most importantly, the leak stated that the pair of Motorola handsets will be out as early as next month.
