Black Friday 2015: Best Deals for Book Readers of All Ages

The best time to get hold of big book hauls is definitely on Black Friday. According to KY Forward, the most discounted items for the taking during the annual event are books and there are a lot of deals and discounts out there readers can't afford to miss. With the shopping festivities hurtling fast, it all comes down to knowing when and where to go to score great offers.

For starters, Barnes & Noble is slashing 30 percent off of everything except for LEGO items and NOOK devices and accessories on from Nov. 27 to 29. During the shopping galore, the publisher will also put autographed books on offer as part of its Signed Editions program.

Titles by Mitch Albom for "The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto," Rick Riordan for "The Sword of Summer," Rainbow Rowell for "Carry On" and more bestselling fiction authors are up for sale. David Baldacci, Paula Hawkins signed copies of their books "The Guilty" and "The Girl on the Train."

Books which have been adapted to series or films such as those by Veronica Roth, Ransom Riggs, John Green Diana Gabaldon, Stephen Chbosky, Jesse Andrews and many others are also up for grabs during Barnes & Noble's Black Friday bonanza.

Hollywood celebs Mindy Kaling, Drew Barrymore, Khloe Kardashian among others are also on board. Even YouTube stars PewDiePie, Tyler Oakley and many other online superstars also took part in the campaign. Check out the list of authors and books included here.

Amazon, on the other hand, offers to slice off half the price of select children's books. Majority of the titles from various categories such as Young Adult, Fiction, Mystery & Thriller and a whole lot more are all on sale.

For some great comic book hauls, there are a lot of places to visit. Midtown Comics is offering every item in its shelf on 75 percent discount from Nov. 25 to Dec. 1. Golden Apple offers 40 percent off on all new comics and the rest with 30 percent discount from Nov. 27 to Nov. 29.

On Nov. 25, 27 and 28, JHU is offering up to 40 percent off on comic books while Jesse James Comics has nearly everything (98 percent to be exact) on markdown. Rodman Comics and Samurai Comics are doing a sale on Nov. 27 with the latter offering select comics for only $1.

Collector's Paradise is selling comics "by the pound" and is offering 50 percent discount on select books and a buy one take two promo come Black Friday. TFAW will be marking down select items from 60 to 70 percent starting Nov. 24 to Nov. 30.
