Remember the 70s? Good. Neither does Kim Kardashian.

No stranger to endless self-promotion, the reality TV staple seems to have decided lately that she needed to up her ante on Twitter, most recently releasing a series of photos from a "70s-shoot."

"70s shoot today," Kardashian tweeted on Monday, posting a series of Instagram photos. Clad in "vintage" lingerie, the buxom model posed in a fur in one photo, and in nothing but a string of pearls and a lace bra in another. Now, I wasn't around for the decade, but if the accuracy of the photos is to be believed, the 70s were all about three things: rubbing Vasoline on camera lenses, boobs, and pearls. Those are values we can all get behind!

Kardashian shared the sexy snapshots with her nearly 16 million followers on Twitter. Saturday, she posted a photo of her ample derriere with a comment that her "butt looks too big in these jeans."

Kardashian's older sister Kourtney recently gave birth to her second child, a baby girl named Penelope. The famous sisters have been focused on spending quality time together with Kourtney's two kids, and had a slumber party on Sunday, Kardashian wrote on Twitter.

The 31-year-old "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star underwent a makeover for another recent photo shoot with photographer Hype Williams last Thursday. "Clyde Haygood and Joyce Bonelli glammed me up, and we went for a fun, crazy look, channeling Diana Ross," wrote Kardashian on her blog. "Definitely a new look for me."

But people didn't exactly embrace the look. "I don't see Diana Ross in this shot at all," writes Yahoo! commenter Derrick D. "She looks more like a Beyonce impersonator." Ffoenyx notes, "I rarely comment on a Kardashian, but this is just effin awful. She looks a mess. And the idea that someone like her would even dare to 'channel' someone who has a real talent and real career is just sad and pathetic."

And even from a Kardashian fan blog: "That makeup is terrible Kim. Sorry, its not good at all! Its like clown makeup."

We can only guess all the Twitter-oversharing lately has something to do with Kardashian's stressful ongoing divorce with ex-husband, basketball player Kris Humphries.

According to Humphries, Kardashian wanted to defraud him by marrying him solely for TV ratings and publicity.

Kim's mom, Kris Jenner has also added her views on the whole issue, "[Kim's] really good with her intuition and she's usually - well, she hasn't been so right lately," she said on Bethenny Frankel's talk show last June. "What's a measly 72 days?"

Contrary to views that Kim wants the divorce to enable her marry rapper Kanye West, she refutes such claims; "Kris is the first person I ever had to break-up with and that f**ked with my emotions."

"He told our producers he would destroy my career and me if the show wasn't edited right."
