Kate Gosselin Fired from CouponCabin Blogging Job, CEO Slams Reality TV Star on Company Website

Kate Gosselin is once again out of a job. The reality TV fixture, known for her past TLC shows, "Jon and Kate Plus 8," and then eventually just, "Kate Plus 8," has been fired from her job writing a blog for CouponCabin.com.

Gosselin started her relationship with the deal-finding website in Nov. 2011. Her presence on CouponCabin polarized the site's audience, clearly infuriating many users who often decimated her blog entries with comments  on her "fakeness," accusing her of  writing the blogs because of transparent self-promotion to remain in the spotlight rather than to help users save money.

According to RadarOnline, the site finally had enough. While you can still find Gosselin's blog on CouponCabin, clicking on the link for the blog takes you to a direct message from the site's CEO, and Founder Scott Kluth. From the looks of it, Kluth may have thought Gosselin was too disingenuous for the job as well.

"A series of recent events have made it clear to me that Kate Gosselin and her contributions do not align with the authenticity which we set out to build almost a decade ago," CEO Scott Kluth posted on his website Tuesday Oct. 17 in an open letter.

"And that Ms. Gosselin is simply not a good fit with the wonderful team and culture at CouponCabin."

Kluth continued, "It's with this that I am writing to inform you of our decision to discontinue Ms. Gosselin's feature blog on CouponCabin.com.

"Ms. Gosselin's contributions garnered both positive attention and criticism, but as always, I respect and appreciate your candid opinions, which often encourage us not to lose sight of our mission - to help YOU save money."

Gosselin was reportedly "difficult to work with, often making outrageous demands and just didn't fit in with the company as a whole," said an inside source at the company to RadarOnline.

"Kate thought that because she was a celebrity she could do or write whatever she wanted, but that's not the way it works."

Users on the site couldn't be happier with CouponCabin's decision. Kluth's blog entry is getting flooded with thank you comments.

"Finally! Her useless tips and self-adulation were annoying and promoted nothing. Sorry you wasted a year of your time and money on this fraud."

"As a neutral person, I felt that Kate had her own agenda for accepting that position. She does not care about her fans or whether or not she is saving them money with good advice. She took that position with the hopes of keeping herself in the spotlight. That is what it is always about.....KATE!!!I often felt that her advice was repetitious and not helpful at all."

"Thank you for dismissing that odious, grasping, faker. She did nothing but promote herself via your website. Good riddance!"

"Kate wasn't doing anything for your company except using it for her own personal promotion and doing a bad job at that. Thank you Scott for finally seeing the light! Make sure to do a 'cleanse' on your whole office to get rid of the bad energy that was Kate Gosselin."

Gosselin hasn't been able to catch a break lately. In other bad news for the fallen reality figure, Robert Hoffman, a friend of Jon Gosselin's, recently wrote a controversial e-book about her, "Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World."

In the e-book, Hoffman accuses Gosselin of a litany of crimes, but most notably, that she has beaten her children since they were toddlers. Hoffman claims he personally called Child Protective Services on Gosselin on two separate incidents, because she is "sick" and in "desperate need of mental help."

According to the Radar Online source, Jon Gosselin made copies of Kate's hard drives in a scheme to save journal entries she'd written on her computer and then gave them to Hoffman.

"Jon made copies of Kate's hard drive and gave them to Rob as a sort of backup plan in case there was anything he needed in there while there were going through their divorce," says the source to Radar.

A claim that Hoffman outright denies. "Regarding Jon, as stated clearly in the book, he had absolutely nothing to do with personally giving me any information whatsoever for the book," said Hoffman to Radar.  "The other 90 percent of the material I possess will not be published, ever, but you can be sure that if I'm falsely accused of anything and drug into court, or called a liar by Kate Gosselin or her lawyers, this information will come out then, including photographs."

The hard drives gave Hoffman access to Kate Gosselin's journal, numerous emails, and even tax documents.

Hoffman claims he found secret journals that Kate used to write her books "Multiple Bles8ings" and "Eight Little Faces," according to Hollywood Life. In journals that Kate reportedly wrote "She was beating 2-year-old babies in diapers," Hoffman told Star magazine.

"I don't judge somebody for spanking, but what Kate wrote in her journal is just absolute violence," he told the magazine.

One instance in particular Hoffman found shocking: when the kids helped themselves to M&Ms without asking, Kate became consumed by anger. "I really, really lost it! I pulled Collin up by the hair, and I spanked them so hard!" she allegedly wrote.

After Colin threw a tantrum another time, Kate reportedly went on another rage. "I sent him to his crib and whipped him into it very hard...I never felt that I may really seriously injure a child, but today was that day."

"I'll be sued by one or more parties before this is over," Hoffman wrote in his e-book according to Radar Online. "I'm writing this book for the Gosselin kids," he says.

While the book is gone, Hoffman insists there's plenty more to come if Gosselin wants to continue swinging at him.

"The other 90 percent of the material I possess will not be published, ever, but you can be sure that if I'm falsely accused of anything and drug into court, or called a liar by Kate Gosselin or her lawyers, this information will come out then, including photographs."
