Pippa Middleton to Write Cookery Column For Supermarket Waitrose

After the release of her first book, Pippa Middleton is reportedly to write a cookery column for British supermarket chain Waitrose.

Pippa Middleton's debut book "Celebrate: A Year of Festivities for Families and Friends," which provided advice on planning celebrations was criticized by book critics for having "far too basic" advice. However, the Duchess of Cambridge's sister has decided to continue to offer her advice, but this time it will be on cooking. According to a report by Reuters, Middleton will start writing a cookery column for British supermarket chain, Waitrose. The column has been titled "Pippa's Friday Night Feasts" and will contain "casual dining ideas and recipes."

After been criticized for advice like using "sharp-bladed scissors" to cut wrapping paper and suggesting turkey for a Christmas dinner menu in her first book, Pippa insisted that the basics had to be covered. Now, she reveals that she can't wait to get started on the new column.

"I'm delighted to be writing for Waitrose Kitchen, a magazine that's always been a source of inspiration to me for its extensive spectrum of food and beautiful style," the 29-year-old said. "My column will be an exciting opportunity to share my own passion and enthusiasm for food and entertaining."

According to William Sitwell, editor of Waitrose Kitchen, Middleton will be an "excellent contributor to the magazine, bringing with her a wealth of experience of entertaining".

"Readers will love her relaxed and easy entertaining ideas which will help with the preparation for all sorts of occasions," he added.

"Pippa's Friday Night Feasts" will appear for the first time in the magazine's April issue.
