"Catching Fire" movie production is still underway. Other news emerged about the final two movies of the "Hunger Games" trilogy, making the fans hungry for more "Games" news (Get it?). 

Lionsgate announced via Twitter that "Catching Fire" director Francis Lawrence would also direct "Mockingjay Part 1 and Part 2." It was also previously reported that Danny Strong would be the screenwriter for the two films.

The Huffington Post reported that Lawrence wouldn't run into the same problem that previous director Gary Ross had. Ross left the sequel earlier this year because he didn't think there were enough days to produce "Catching Fire" before its Nov. 22, 2013 release date.

"As a writer and a director, I simply don't have the time I need to write and prep the movie I would have wanted to make because of the fixed and tight production schedule," Ross said at the time.

Collidor.com explained that Lawrence would presumablyk work immediately on "Mockingjay Part 1 and Part 2" right after "Catching Fire."

Lionsgate announced in July: the book will be split into two films. Part one is set to release Nov. 21, 2014. The second part will release Nov. 20, 2015.

In "Catching Fire" movie news, musical score composer James Newton Howard is set to work on Suzanne Collins' second film adaption, according to the Examiner.

Howard has produced music for the first "The Hunger Games" movie.

"He worked on the score with T. Burnett for the first adaptation, and many fans will no doubt be pleased to hear that he confirmed during his recent interview with 'Film Music Site' that 'Catching Fire' will also include his repertoire," the Examiner reported.

For "Catching Fire," Lionsgate announced that it started principal photography for the second "Hunger Games" movie on Sept. 10 in Atlanta, Georgia. Then, the film will subsequently be shot on location in the beaches and jungles of Hawaii before wrapping in late December, 2012.

A report by FansShare said that fan excitement is still growing daily and that they "cannot wait to see it."
