They do this because they find out their army is in trouble. It is a race against time and will be exciting to watch, especially with Mistborn's special powers. However, in the end, they cannot save their rebel friends, which is a sad moment for Kelsier. 

5. Vin Defeats Zane in Duel

In 'The Well of Ascension,' we meet another Mistborn named Zane, Elend's half-brother. Zane and Vin spar in the second book, but he never tries to hurt her. Zane says he loves Vin and wants to run away with her, but she says no, which leads to them in a serious sparring match. Vin wins because she realizes something quickly, showing off her amazing reflexes. During this fight, Vin discovers that her kandra, OreSeur, is not who she thought.
