Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Specs and Price for AT&T Revealed, T-Mobile Release Date on Oct. 24, Kanye West to Perform at Event

AT&T fans finally get the information they have been waiting for.

According to a recent press release, AT&T will start taking pre-orders for the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note 2 on Oct. 25. Customers will be able to purchase the "phablet" in stores and online on Nov. 9 for $299.99 with a two-year agreement.

"The Galaxy Note II will run on AT&T's 4G LTE network. It will ship running Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) on its beautiful 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLEDTM display, perfect for customers who want the productivity of a tablet with the portability of a smartphone," the press release said.

Samsung on their website said that the Note 2 will be available on all major carriers by mid-November.

T-Mobile has the Galaxy Note 2 on their website as "coming soon" and "price not available yet."

According to CNET, sources say that T-Mobile will launch the Note 2 on Wednesday and that shipments have already started arriving in stores.

In the press release, T-Mobile announced that the Note 2 will available in "coming weeks." It will come in Titanium Gray and Marble White color options.  it includes an entertainment feature: a preloaded new racing game on the device, which will include all three free levels.

Reports say that the T-Mobile version may hit stores on Nov. 15.

U.S. Cellular is already taking pre-orders for $299.99.

Sprint recently announced in a press release that it will offer its version of the Galaxy Note 2 starting Oct. 25, according to Phandroid. The smartphone will cost $299. It will come in either Marble White or Titanium Grey, and will be a SAFE (Samsung for Enterprise) device, "providing the ability to securely sync corporate email, calendars, contacts and sensitive information."

Verizon is supposed to unveil their Note 2 version on Oct. 24.  

Samsung is holding a press event on Oct. 24 to unveil the Galaxy Note 2. The smartphone will come to all major U.S. carriers, including U.S. Cellular, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, and AT&T.

Speaking of the event, ChristianPost reported that hip-hop star Kanye West will perform at the NYC event.

"Samsung confirmed earlier today that the G.O.O.D. Music maestro will be assisting the company to launch one of the most highly anticipated devices this year at its upcoming event in NYC," the report said.

This is just another way to excite fans that are already excited.

Samsung's "phablet" will feature a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED screen and a rear 8-megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and front 1.9 megapixel CT camera. It has a 1.6 Ghz quad-core processor and 4G LTE data speeds. It is also expected to have Android 4.1 Jelly Bean pre-installed and come with the S Pen experience and comes with up to 64GB of memory with 2GB RAM and a microSD slow up to 64GB.
