Hillary Clinton Sends Copies of Her Book to Republican Rivals

In response to the critiques on her accomplishments, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has sent her Republican rivals a copy of her book "Hard Choices", reports ABC News.

"You know I hear the Republicans talking from time to time in their debates and elsewhere and they say things like 'Oh I don't know what she accomplished as secretary of state, she didn't accomplish anything,'" Clinton said in Muscatine, Iowa, as quoted in the same report.

Hillary is the wife of the former United States President Bill Clinton. She was appointed Secretary of State on 2009 and served until 2013.

She continued, "So I have now sent each of them a copy of my book, 'Hard Choices,' about what we did during those four years."

"Hard Choices" is Clinton's account of the crises she encountered and choices she made during her four years as America's 67th Secretary of State. "All of us face hard choices in our lives," she wrote.

The book sent to her Republican rivals also came with a personalized letter each.

According to a tweet by Liz Kreutz of ABC, the books were sent to businessman Jeb Bush, author and neurosurgeon Ben Carson Sr., New Jersey governor Chris Christie, Senator Ted Cruz, former business executive Carly Fiorina and Senator Lindsey Graham.

Her list also includes former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee, Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal, Ohio governor John Kasich, former New York Governor George Pataki, Senator Rand Paul, Senator Marco Rubio, former Senator Rick Santorum and TV personality Donald Trump.

Another tweet shows the text written in Hillary's letter.

She wrote: "With 15 candidates in the race, you've got enough people for a book club!"

Of course, some candidates responded back.

"I'll make a deal with you @HillaryClinton, if you watch these videos, I'll read your book," said Gov. Bobby Jindal in a tweet.

The videos linked by the Louisiana governor show footages of Planned Parenthood meetings involving the sale of babies' body parts.

Reports reveal that Hillary Clinton is an avid supporter of the organization, the leading advocate for reproductive health care in the U.S.

Meanwhile, Senator Ted Cruz said that he would return the favor send Clinton a copy of his book "A Time for Truth".

"A Time for Truth: Reigniting the Promise of America" was published on June 30 under Harper Collins. The book reportedly made it to the New York Times best-selling list for nonfiction after an issue on "strategic bulk purchases."
