"Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2" Updates; Kristen Stewart a 'Cool' New Vampire at Comic-Con 2012 San Diego (Video)

"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2" was one of the most things talked about at Comic-Con 2012 San Diego, and still is.

MTV News covered the entire "Breaking Dawn Part 2" panel, which took place Thursday from 12:45 to 1:45 in Hall H. Fans were already waiting outside, and got a special surprise during Wednesday night (Preview Night), when some of the cast from the popular film series came out to greet them.

During the MTV two-hour live stream that took place before the panel started, the cast, including Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner as well as author Stephanie Meyer, talked to MTV's Josh Horowitz about the epic finale.

"The standout is Kristen as a vampire," Meyer told host Josh Horowitz. "She's completely changed. It's subtle. It's not this huge shift. If you watch, everything she does is a little different, in a very good way. It's not how I saw it in my head. ... It makes it more fun for me. It'd be boring if it was what I saw in my head."

Stewart herself had plenty to say about her transformation into a bloodsucker, saying that she considers the newborn's first hunt one of the most-anticipated scenes in the film. "It's like breaking a car in," she said. "It's really cool. We went back and did more to make it even cooler."

"There's a lot more surprises," Kellan Lutz (Emmett) said about the battle between the Cullens and the Volturi. "It's great that [director] Bill [Condon] has such a genius mind to add to the books and amplify the scenes. The fans are really going to love what we did, what Bill came up with."

During the panel, Summit Entertainment screened the first seven minutes of the hotly anticipated film and an additional clip. The fans finally got to see Bella as a newborn vampire.

Then the cast took stage to answers questions and talk about the movie. Castmembers Stewart, Pattinson, Lautner, Mackenzie Foy (Renesmee), and Meyer spoke about exiting details about the upcoming movie.

MTV News posted some details that were talked about at the panel. One thing is that Stewart was born to be a vampire.

"I love her. I think that she's the coolest one," Stewart said about her character.

Fans also learned that Jacob can finally be just friends with Bella because he's not in love with her anymore. Also, the dog-bowl scene was cut from the movie. In the novel, Rosalie gives Jacob a dog bowl with food that has the name "Fido" scratched into the side. To get back at her, he threw the bowl at her head, to which she replied, "You. Got. Food. In. My. Hair." It turns out that the cast filmed the scene, but it ended up being cut from the movie (which is a total bummer).

Stewart and Pattinson also expressed having sex as vampires, and Stewart said she was disappointed along with fans that the scenes had to be restricted, according to US Weekly.

"In the second one, we just wanted to be animals," Stewart said. "We're not human anymore. How do you do that? We tried, and they told us it was rated R, and we were like [snaps fingers]. So, yeah, I'm going to stop."

"The ratings, man. They're a tricky thing."

"Breaking Dawn Part 2" is going to be released in theaters November 16, 2012.
