'Fifty Shades of Grey' Movie Casting Update: Elizabeth Olsen Addresses Rumors About Anastasia Steele

Many "Fifty Shades of Grey" fans are shouting out who they want to play the key roles of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey.

It looks like a decision is getting closer as more celebrities address rumors about their name being attached to the upcoming film.

Recently, Elizabeth Olsen squashed rumors that she will consider playing Anastasia in the steamy movie.

In an interview with Bullet, Olsen replied, "No! No! No!"

She added, "But it's had a huge impact on society. Apparently rope sales have skyrocketed because women who've read the book are really getting into bondage, which is kind of great. It's such a taboo for women to actually discuss sexuality without the help of Cosmopolitan. All of a sudden, this book has become a sensation because the women reading it haven't had access to this kind of thing before. I was talking to a guy who was making a joke about it, saying, 'Clearly these women just need to watch porn.' In a way, he's right."

The steamy "Fifty Shades" trilogy, written by bestselling author E.L. James, tells the story of 22-year-old recent college grad Anastasia Steele, who enters into a dominant/submissive sexual relationship with 27-year old sexy billionaire Christian Grey, through an "agreement," and both explore the world of BDSM (bondage, dominance, submission, masochism).

Emma Watson recently admitted that that she will not play Anastasia for the steamy role.

Watson spoke to Entertainment Weekly on Monday and denied the rumors that have been circulating out of control.

"I haven't read the book, I haven't a read a script, nothing," Watson tells EW. "There are so many movies you become attached to when I've literally never even received a phone call. It was the same way with 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' - I never even saw a script!"

The actress said for just because there are many articles about her linked to the movie doesn't mean they are true. "The thing is I'm not going to go out there every time someone attaches me to a film to say no or release a statement," Watson said.

Another star who also denied rumors was "True Blood" star Alexander Skarsgard. Although a fan favorite, the vampire actor said that he is not in the running to play the key role of Christian.

Skarsgard sat down during a HBO panel at Comic-Con 2012 San Diego. He revealed that he has not heard any news on the film adaption of E.L. James' steamy novel, nor has been offered a casting part as Christian Grey.

"I haven't read the book and I haven't seen a script," said the "True Blood" actor.

So much for fans getting excited that the movie cast is coming along. But readers of the erotic novel already know which stars they want to play Anastasia and Christian.

"Game of Thrones" star Emilia Clarke, "Gilmore Girls" star Alexis Bledel, "Percy Jackson & the Olympians" star Alexandra Daddario, "The Vampire Diaries" star Ian Somerhalder, "DietTribe" Jessie Pavelka, "White Collar" star Matt Bomer are just some of the popular actors/actresses that have been linked to the two steamy roles.
