'Fifty Shades of Grey' News: Fans Affecting E.L. James' Decision to Write Trilogy in Christian Grey's Perspective: 'Maybe I Will Do That'

"Fifty Shades of Grey" fans might just being starting to affect E.L. James in her decision to write a fourth book in Christian Grey's perspective.

She recently spoke at an event to launch the "Fifty Shades of Grey" album in London.

"Rather stupidly I put two of the first chapters from Christian's point of view at the end of 'Fifty Shades Freed', and now every other tweet, that is not about Matt Bomer or Ian Somerhalder, or whoever, Ryan Gosling, is saying that can we have Christian's point of view please. So maybe I will do that, I don't know," James said, according to Entertainment Wise.

This implies two things. One is that she knows, responds, and may be taking into consideration the tweets that her fans send her regarding who should play Christian Grey. Two, it implies that she was thinking about writing from Christian's perspective and that the fans are getting to her; she may make a decision soon.

The "Fifty Shades" trilogy ("Fifty Shades of Grey," "Fifty Shades Darker," "Fifty Shades Freed"), written by bestselling author E.L. James, tells the story of 22-year-old recent college grad Anastasia Steele, who enters into a dominant/submissive sexual relationship with 27-year old sexy billionaire Christian Grey, and both explore Christian's world of BDSM while trying to understand their complicated relationship.

This goes in line with a rumor that James will be writing a fourth book.

It was revealed last week that, according to TheStir.Cafemom.com, the New York Daily News reported, "A source close to the British author ... tells us that the self-made fiction phenom is considering rewriting the best-selling trilogy ... from the perspective of the novels' riding-crop-wielding billionaire, Christian Grey."

At the end of "Fifty Shades Freed," readers get a glimpse into Christian's life and what and how he thinks about Ana during their first encounter on his interview, along with how he realizes his feelings for her are different.

He says in the book [SPOILER], "As she grows more and more flustered, it occurs to me that I could refine her motor skills with the aid of a riding crop. Adeptly used it can bring even the most skittish to heel. The errant thought makes me shift in my chair."

He also goes on to talk about her "shapeless" clothes and clumsiness, along with her clear, bright-blue eyes that make him feel "exposed."

First reported by Fifty Shades Film, a special edition publication dedicated to all things "Fifty Shades" appeared last week and revealed exciting news for fans.

Ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com reported that a rep was speaking to gathered "Fifty Shades" fans.

"While waiting to get E L James' autograph, a rep for Vintage books (the company that published Fifty Shades of Grey) was speaking to those of us gathered in the autograph line. When he mentioned off-hand to me and a few of the other fans gathered there that there was "something exciting" about to happen in the Fifty Shades universe, we all leaned in to listen, which is when he announced that there would be a (shhhhhhhh!) FOURTH FIFTY SHADES NOVEL. I sprang into action, and asked as many questions as I could," wrote ONTD Live Journal.

"There's a fourth one?

Yeah, there's a fourth one coming.

What's it about?

Yeah, she just threw it to her publisher. Her publisher was telling me about it. I was like "Really?" She was like, "Yeah!" I was like, "I don't believe you. This woman's a three-book phenomenon. It's not a fourth book." So she pulled it up on her computer, it was there. I've seen it.

And you've read it?

I've read the first five pages."

James also said during the London event that she is forced to keep quiet in case movie bosses don't like her choice for Christian Grey, saying, "The thing is that if I say I want 'so-and-so' to do it and then they don't want to... it's just best to keep your mouth shut." This means that she already has a few actors in mind, which she revealed earlier in the year.
